The project supports achievement of outcome 1.3 of the United Nations Development
Assistance Framework (UNDAF), which seeks to ensure that targeted
population in selected districts benefit from effective management of
environment, natural resources, climate change and disaster risk by 2018.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The project contributes to the achievement of the following SDGs:
- SDG 1-End poverty in all its forms-everywhere (Target 5)
- SDG 2-End hunger achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable Agriculture(Target 4)
- SDG 11-Make cities and human settlements inclusive,safe,resilient,sustainable (Target 11.5)
- SDG 13-Take urgent action to combat climate and its impacts
